| On 1 July 2008, the Centre for Multicultural Youth Issues (CMYI) will be dropping the 'Issues' and will officially become the Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY).

Employment discrimination project - get involved
|
- Finding it hard to get a job?

- Want to do something about it?
|
|
Then get involved in a new and exciting youth-led project that will tackle employment discrimination issues that face multicultural young people.
CMY, in partnership with the Victorian Multicultural Commission and the Office for Youth, is coordinating a new and exciting youth-led initiative to address employment discrimination issues facing multicultural young people.
This project is a great opportunity for participants to develop new skills, meet new people and do something about an important issue! More information available from the flyer below.

Multifaith Multicultural Youth Mentoring

If you're interested, and between 18-25 years old, then Multifaith Multicultural Youth Mentoring (MMYM) for Leadership is the program for you! MMYM connects young people with decision makers in the Victorian community, developing skills, confidence, and networking opportunities.

Volunteer peer mentors needed for Ucan2
|
The Ucan2 project is looking for people aged 20 to 28, with experience in balancing part-time work and study, to be volunteer peer mentors to newly arrived young people from refugee backgrounds.
Ucan2 is an opportunity to further develop your leadership skills, contribute to your local community, help a peer and have fun.
